**NEWS & UPDATES ARCHIVE**

02/29/08:

Ooh, leap day.  I wonder, what happens to babies born today?  I mean, do kids that were born on 2/29/04 celebrate their 1st birthday today?  Dumb question I know, but I've always wondered how all that gets worked out.  Anyways, I did something and long story short, I've reverted my 2D ART back to being an empty space.  I'm doing what I can, and I'll see about designing the thing to stuff all my random 2D work in there and give them their proper backstory, because there's nothing I enjoy more than over-explaining everything! WOO-HOO!

01/28/08:

Jeez, I haven't updated anything in such a long time.  And I missed out on my yearly Zorkie christmas card.  And now with my job as a Tax Pro ( ... what??), I'm finding it hard to get to my 3D Max, and that ain't cool.  And it seems like I haven't been talking about animation for quite a few posts.  Let me get into this whole groove of everything that's going on with Mr. AGE Animation's side projects (oh, and that whole 'adjusting to a new city' thing), and do some well-needed "spring cleaning" if you will, on the ol' noggin, and this place will be busy!  But for the moment, let me just say, that Victor Navone has such a great website/blog.  He has so much animation material and reference it's awesome.  Definitely check it out, I know I need too more often ;-)  http://www.navone.org/HTML/Index.htm

01/03/08:

Happy New Years everyone!  It's been an interesting month for me, to say the least.  With my family, I moved from the cold climate of the northeast to the nice, warm sunny weather of southern Texas.  It's a long story, but yeah, I am here in Texas.  It's been a weird transition so far, and especially with the fact that Philadelphia was such a big city, and such an awesome downtown (us cool kids call it Center City), and Corpus Christi isn't as big.  I can't knock it though, because this downtown, albeit small ... very very small ... has an amazing view of the Gulf of Mexico.  Also, being a born-and-bred Southern Cali kid, this weather is more akin to what I'm used to.  I loved the snow, but the cold was not my friend.  But yea, I'm closer to a lot of my family now (and my baby), and though it's not a beaming art city, let's see if we can't find something here that has anything to do with 3D ...

Corpus Christi, Texas.  A small city/town in southern Texas.  Famous for its amazing Gulf of Mexico coast, the many oil refineries that pollute the air (thank you Halliburton), and the famous Tejana singer Selena.  Oh, and soon to be the new home of AGE Animation ...

11/15/07:

I decided to remove the "UPDATES" section from the home page.  I guess it seemed like a cool idea, and something I felt compelled to have on here.  My thought was, "well, in case I don't feel like writing anything in the NEWS section, I can just post updates on it's own little section."  But since I just about always write something here anyways, the UPDATES section becomes quite redundant.  So, now I have a bit more elbow room in my News section, and who doesn't want more inane babbling from yours truly?  ... uh ... yours truly :-P

10/20/07:

Well, it's been slow here at AGE Animation, and going to different types of classes (not 3D-or-art related, that's for sure) isn't helping much.  I guess something to bide my time while I try and look for that special job.  It's something that'll give me a few extra bucks on the side, and I'd be learning something new, which is always good.  I won't abandon my animations, but I can't just be sitting idly.  Anyways, I'll stop with the babbling so you can check out the site!

09/04/07:

I am very excited at the moment! If you go to Google and input 'AGE Animation' this site is the 2nd listing on there! It's lame I know (who's gonna go to Google and put in AGE Animation aside from me?), but still pretty cool. Anyways, I've added another Zorkie-related image in the Images-Characters section, and there is FINALLY something in the 2D Art page! I have some of my early animations from school. I know, it seems like these should go in the ANIMATIONS page, but these are pieces of 2D Art, and besides, that page was empty. But yea, hope you enjoy!

07/05/07:

Well, it's been almost a month with this website, and I noticed a small mistake. My 6939 Gage animation page seemed to lead straight to the Images - Architecture page! Sadly I noticed the problem while I was out of town, but now it is fixed and ready for viewing! So yea, I haven't had much time to update this place since it opened, my life has been pretty hectic to say the least. But my apologies for the mistake, and thankfully everything (hopefully) is back in order. If anyone does tend to find another hiccup, then I would appreciated it if you'd let me know. Thanks!

06/07/07:

Hey everyone to the re-birth of the most crap-tacular site online! This has been a long time coming, but it's finally here! I'm excited to finally have my site back online with a layout I enjoy. Unlike last time, I plan on this site to be chock-full of my work, 3D, 2D, drawings, and whatnot, so if you're curious, then plan to stay a while. It's still a work in progress, so I'll be tweaking it by the day, and letting you know on the side there, where I'll post any and all updatess made to this site (hence the "News and Updates" title). All the buttons are at the bottom, so let me stop rambling so you can go ahead and check out the work that is AGE Animation.com! Enjoy!
